SEO and media
Good content deserves to be found and to look sharp. Every content page carries its own SEO fields, and the editor lets you bring in media so pages are more than walls of text.
SEO fields on a page
Section titled “SEO fields on a page”Each page has an SEO section that controls how it shows up in search results, separate from the page’s on-store heading:
- Meta title — the clickable headline search engines display. Keep it concise and specific to the page.
- Meta description — a short summary that becomes the snippet under the title. Write it to earn the click, not just to describe the page.
- Search preview — a live mock-up of the result, showing the page URL, title and description together, so you can see the snippet before you publish.
Because SEO is set per page, you can tune each one for the terms that matter to it — an About page and a seasonal landing page have different jobs to do.
Media in your content
Section titled “Media in your content”Content isn’t only words. From the content editor you can place images inside a page’s body to illustrate a story, show a product in context, or break up long sections.
Reusing media you already have keeps your store consistent — the same imagery that appears across your catalog can support your pages, so your brand feels of a piece from a product listing to an About page.
