Storefront SEO
Because your storefront is server-rendered, its pages arrive fully formed for search engines to read — there’s no waiting for scripts to build the page first. On top of that, CIQRA adds the technical SEO signals a modern store needs, so you start from a strong baseline without configuring anything special.
This is a conceptual overview of the SEO strengths built into the storefront.
Structured data
Section titled “Structured data”CIQRA emits structured data (Schema.org, in JSON-LD) so search engines can understand what a page actually is, rather than guessing from the text. Storefront pages carry the relevant types, including:
- Product on product pages — so details like the product can be recognised as a product.
- Article on blog posts — so posts are understood as articles.
- FAQ where a page presents questions and answers.
This is the same kind of markup that helps pages qualify for richer search results. You add the underlying content — titles, descriptions, images — in your catalog and content; the storefront wires up the structured data.
hreflang for international stores
Section titled “hreflang for international stores”If your store serves more than one language or region, the storefront outputs hreflang annotations. These tell search engines which version of a page is meant for which language or locale, so shoppers are pointed to the right one and your translated pages aren’t treated as duplicates of each other.
Sitemaps
Section titled “Sitemaps”The storefront produces sitemaps — the index that tells search engines which pages exist and helps them get discovered and crawled. New products, collections, content pages and blog posts are included as part of your store, so you don’t have to maintain a list by hand.
