Payments — CIQRA Pay

CIQRA Pay is the payments engine behind your store. It takes money from shoppers, moves it to you, and keeps the books straight — so you can focus on selling. It’s built on Stripe Connect, and it also handles refunds, multiple currencies and gift cards.

CIQRA Pay is the payments engine behind your store, built on Stripe Connect. It charges shoppers, collects your earnings into a balance, and pays that balance out to your bank. It also handles refunds, multiple currencies and gift cards. See How CIQRA Pay works.

Money from your sales accrues into your CIQRA Pay balance, shown as an available to pay out figure. That balance is paid out to your connected bank account. Payouts settle your net earnings — the charged totals minus the CIQRA Pay fee, adjusted for refunds. See Get paid — payouts and your balance.

CIQRA Pay deducts a fee on payments, so each order records both what the customer was charged and the net you keep after the fee. The net is what flows into your balance and payouts.

Refunds flow back through CIQRA Pay to the customer’s original payment, so you don’t refund people by hand outside the platform. A refund is issued against a return, limited by the order’s refundable balance, and reduces your CIQRA Pay balance. See Refunds and disputes and Refund an order.

A dispute (or chargeback) is when a shopper contests a charge directly with their bank, which pulls the funds back while the claim is reviewed. It’s different from a refund you choose to issue, and follows the card network’s process. See Refunds and disputes.

Why might some of my funds be held as a reserve?

Section titled “Why might some of my funds be held as a reserve?”

New accounts may carry a risk-based reserve — a portion of funds held back to cover potential refunds and disputes. Reserved funds sit outside your available to pay out balance until released, and the reserve typically eases as your store builds a track record.

Yes. CIQRA supports multi-currency selling with presentment pricing, so shoppers see prices in their own currency. It uses an ISO 4217 currency catalog and European Central Bank reference rates to convert. A shopper can only pay in a currency your store has enabled. See Sell in multiple currencies.
