A product isn't showing on my storefront
You added a product but shoppers can’t find it on your storefront. This is almost always down to one of a few settings, rather than anything broken — work through the checks below and you’ll usually spot it quickly.
Things to check
Section titled “Things to check”- Is the product published, not a draft? A product saved as a draft stays hidden from your storefront. Check that its status is published in Products — draft is the single most common cause.
- Is a scheduled publish date still in the future? If the product is set to go live on a future date, it won’t appear until that date arrives. Check that any scheduled date has actually passed.
- Is it assigned to the category or collection being browsed? Shoppers browsing a specific category or collection only see products assigned to it. A published product that isn’t in that category won’t show up there — confirm it’s assigned where you expect people to find it.
- Is it out of stock? When there’s nothing available to sell, the storefront can
hide sold-out items. Check the product’s inventory —
if Available is
0, that’s likely why it’s hidden. - Has the search index caught up? Storefront search runs on a search index that updates shortly after a change. If the product is published and in stock but not turning up in search results yet, the index may still be catching up.
