What your storefront includes
Your storefront is the store your customers actually see and shop in. It’s server-rendered, which means each page is built and delivered ready to view — quick to load and easy for search engines to read. You don’t assemble these pages one by one; they come from your catalog, content and settings automatically.
This is a conceptual overview of what a complete CIQRA storefront covers. It describes how the storefront behaves for shoppers today.
The pages shoppers use
Section titled “The pages shoppers use”A full storefront renders the whole shopping journey:
- Product pages — the detail page for each product, with its options and variants, media, price and availability.
- Collection and category pages — grouped listings that let shoppers browse a set of related products.
- Cart — where a shopper reviews what they’ve added before buying.
- Checkout — where the order is placed and paid for.
- Search, including faceted (filtered) search — a results page shoppers can narrow with filters. See Search & filtering.
- Wishlist and compare — shoppers can save products for later and compare a few side by side.
- Contact — a way for shoppers to reach you.
Content and blog
Section titled “Content and blog”Beyond the catalog, your storefront renders the content pages and blog you publish from the admin — About, policy pages, landing pages, and articles. You write and manage these in CIQRA; the storefront displays them. See the Content section for how to author them.
Order tracking
Section titled “Order tracking”Shoppers can track an order from the storefront to see where it is, without needing to email you. On your side, fulfilment and tracking are managed in Orders.
Customer account pages
Section titled “Customer account pages”Signed-in shoppers get their own account area on the storefront, covering:
- Login and register
- Profile details
- Addresses, including a default address
- Orders and their history
- Downloads for any digital products they’ve bought
Much of a customer’s profile stays current on its own because shoppers maintain it here. See Storefront customer accounts.
